Description:
Follow this trail from the Red Canyon Visitor Center into the vivid orange and scarlet rock formations of Red Canyon. This trail will provide you with truly a "bird’s eye" view of this spectacular area. This trail is a moderate hike and is 0.7 miles one way.
Directions:
From Panguitch: Take Highway 89 south for 6.3 miles, turn left at the Highway 12 junction and continue for about 3.5 miles. The trailhead is located about .25 miles before the Red Canyon Visitor center. Both the Bird's Eye Trail and the Photo Trail start at the same place and then split.
