Description: 

The trailhead is at the swimming area of Lick Fork Lake Recreation Area. Follow this easy to moderately challenging 1.9-mile loop through the picturesque woods surrounding Lick Fork Lake. A canopy of mixed hardwood and pine trees shelter fern, and a variety of wildflowers that lourish along the trail. This is a good hiking trail for girl and boy scouts.

Directions: 

From Edgefield: Take SC 23 south 8.2 miles. Bear left onto SC 230. Drive 0.5 mile to route 219-263, drive 1.9 miles to entrance on right.

From Exit 1 on I-20 at North Augusta: Go north on SC 230 through Colliers. Approximately 3 miles past Colliers, turn right onto Edgefield County S-263. Drive 2 miles to the entrance to Lick Fork Recreation Area on the right.
