Description: 

A hiker can experience open mountain meadows, heavy forest, and a trail used by the first settlers into Tillamook County. Horse trailer parking and trail entrance is located 0.6 miles east of Hebo Lake. Parts of the trail are within the Mt. Hebo Special Interest Area with a spectacular view of the mighty Pacific in the west and the Cascades in the east.

Directions: 

Off Hwy 101, travel south on Hwy 22 – ¼ mile. At Forest Service Road 14, travel east 4.5 miles to the entrance of the Hebo Lake Campground. Trailhead is located near the day use area in the campground.
